[HELP] Stop people from switching teams.
 
There apears to be a crash issue with the lastest version on STEAM and CS 1.6 that if you spam the server by switching team, you can crash the server, so what I want to do is limate the amount of times you can switch teams.

(More information will be given later, I don't know how this works totaly, I was just informed of it a few minutes ago by the server owner.)

Sounds liek a bug somewhere? Normally I can only join a team once a round before I get the message "You can only join a team once a around" (or something along those lines) :-)

I have seen PTB on the server, and I highly doubt hacks.
Chicken is not smart enough to find hacks install them and use them.

Most likely if it was a hack, there wouldnt be a script to stop it, since the only way we know how to detect team changes is through the menu. Thats to my knowledge though, if there is a console command, you could probably block it with a counter that counts the number of times the user attempts to join during a round. If after that counter expires, the function called would simply return PLUGIN_HANDLED, which prevents the game engine from going any further with the command. You might also be able to prevent such crashing (if its a reoccuring problem) by making sure logging is off.

I think I know whats running on the server I am running. We didn't have PTB then. Now, thanks to that incident, I did install it.

You say hes not smart enough to find hacks.... They arent hard to find. Its not rocket science. You might know the scenario if you would have been there with us, but you werent.

and btw, couldn't u just look for jointeam 1 or jointeam 2 used in console?
