Create ladder

Is it possible to create a entity with ladder function?
I have no experience in mapping, so i do not really know how this could be done. Simply take a ladder-entity seems not to work. I tested it with the ent-moving-plugin. I could take the ladder-entity, move it to another place, but the climb-function does not move with it.
Is it possible to create an entity with that feature?

Yes, yes it is. You can do it with ent, and you can do it with amx. so I assume they didnt screw up too badly with amxx, and so its still possible.

I thought the ladder was a type of brush? I dont think you can change brushes

That is correct, it needs to have the aaatrigger brush.

I don't know how to do this though :)

func_ladder
u'd need to copy that i believe, but i haven't even looked into that, trying to get rotating to work lol

well, if i remember correctly, admin_wall created a brush on the map. if you can tie entities to a dynamic brush then you can make your ladders!

classname: func_wall
movetype: 7
solid: 4
modelindex: 19
flags: 33554432
rendermode: 4
renderamt: 25
model: *18

classname: func_ladder
model: *19
movetype: 7
skin: -16
modelindex: 20

I got these from awp_city. func_wall is the what u see as the ladder, func_ladder is the part u actually climb. I could also post the sizes, but that'd be kinda pointless. I also think the model is pointless since they just seem to count up anyway, but not sure. (If u copy something and shoot it, all copies+original will show bullet, so model probably just increments for each ent on the map)
