Plugins Help
I was wondering how do you make the old AMX plugins work for AMXX.

and that tells me how to change to amxx? where?

I have gotten the same jazz upon this seemingly perfectly normal question.....
Maybe the answer is written in there and I just don't understand their language just yet :P For the rest of us who are not acustomed to their ways just yet, I can tell you where to begin. First of all the include files. They must be changed to the new AMXx inc files, and the tags of the plugin you wish to port must be changed to reflect these new include files. After that I believe the common practice is to compile the plugin with the new includes and hope to hell it says done :P Beyond that all I can tell you is that a whole mess of natives and such have been renamed and if the compiler tells you that any natives are "undefined symbols" then you will have to swap them with the new natives. Other than that, I guess you would be best off talking to someone like Kingpin or Burnzy (two ppl I have noticed that have ported a "butt load" of plugins from AMX to AMXx) Oh yeah, and if I am ever to become "one of them" I will have to start practiceing "their" ways sooner or later so... maybe this will help you  http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=375 |

I have seen other people post links to that in similar circumstances too (and I was sure it was someone who had a very good handle on porting plugins aswell), hence my silly outburst :P Thanks for offering your help :) @Nick I'll help in whatever way I can too if a link or download is provided of the plugin that you want ported  |
