Democracy
Allowing votes to be started from normal players present in the server. Votes to include...
Weapons Restrictions Gravity Changes Kicks Friendly Fire And other related plug-in This way players can make changes in game without an admin present. |
Democracy, that name sounds familiar, wonder where i've heard it.. *sarcasm*
The last version of that i wrote for admin mod was 2.0 beta 9 which non-forum readers have probbably never seen. The one i released origionally was one of the first scripts i wrote, very ugly and inefficient. Still this version would look a lot better in a language like C++ the important features that a SourceMod version should have are....
An in-game menu to configure settings and create gun vote scenarios to avoid user error in config files. I should be able(time/skill) to write a decent number of scripts for cs:source. I leave it to others to make them compatible with other source mods :) |
Something I've been thinking for voting is uneven voting. For example, letting the administrators' votes count double the normal votes, or having the votes be somewhat proportional to the time spent ingame, or have the multiplication factors be stored in a database. Just a thought for whoever will be doing the vote scripts.

I kinda like how some ut2k4 map votes use your score as your number of votes. Although i dont think thats very appropriate for counter strike (might make more campers), it would be cool to give people extra votes for saving hostages, and planting/defusing bombs. As long as we announce what rewards the client has earned before the vote starts, i don't think it would be confusing at all. Could also say it after they achieved that they earned an extra point/vote.
