Distribution

I say distribute with all modules / configs (one download)
Each mod of HL2 has one dll attached to it
You edit a main config file "modules.cfg or .ini"
And only put in the dlls you want (sm_ns.dll, sm_dod.dll) etc.

Just some thoughts, any other suggestions?

I say distribute source-only. This will reduce the number of stupid people clogging up the forums and the irc channel.

Keeping packages separate is better for organization. It makes it much easier to assign specific maintainers for certain packages.

Nah, then they would whine about how to compile

If each package was able to be fit into just a dll, seperate packages would be a non-issue - if there had to be seperate configs for each mod then distribution by parts is logical.

Then you can easily point them to gcc/msvs docs. Compiling is outside the scope for SourceMod support, installing is not.

I dont think its really that a problem two download two zips (or whatever) and extract them,

and of course, seperate packages are orginized better (and maintained bettter as bail said)..
