some built in pluggins id like to see
well i agree that most pluggins should not be built in with sourcemod mainly because the majority of them are silly and are for goofing around. The only added "come with pluggins" i would like to see would be some sorta download management for .wavs and things like that, i heard an already suggested scrimmage pluggin that automatically sets up scrimmage rules and configs which sounded very useful, and a custom vote pluggin which allowes certain maps for voting depending on the current map and for common favorites like knives only. A clan tag restriction pluggin would also be nice.
Id also like to see more variety of colors for ex. amx_csay and an ability to bind multiple commands to the same key. So if i hit uparrow a phrase appears in the center of the screen and a .wav from the speech menu is played at the same time. Hope some of these suggestions get added. Thanks |

bind K "amx_csay screw you guys, i'm going home; amx_wav cartman.wav" does this already, no? \malex\ |
malex you are correct.
And for colors I thought that could be done by passing the rgb value but maybe that was a mod I mad a while back myself for our server. |
Full.. you're right as well.. You can pass the RGB number in throught he Csay to have more colors.

ok ok well what about the pluggins that was my main point in writing this post.

I still think the included plugins should be very bare. kick, ban, cvars, configs. More then that isn't "Needed" to manage a server. With the new dynamic menu system JGHG (2 thumbs up for the new feature) is writing and has written for amxmodx there is no longer a need for anything else being in the standard package as it can be added to the menu with just a single line of code in the custom plugins now. So if you like teleport you just download the plugin throw it in the directory and add the entry into you plugins file or whatever it may be now and bam the option is on the menu and you are ready to teleport people.

Tell me how to use that dynamic menu, I must learn it :D |
Read JGHG's post in the scripting section of the amxmodx's forum. It explains it and how to use it for writing plugins.
