i asked for a way to check if a MAPM_FINAL_ROUND has happend on any map since adding the newer version of the plugin, because i didnt saw it happening while being on the server myself until writing my former post. the prob with a wrong nextmap has been fixed after editing my mapmanager.cfg earlier. Re: Map Manager Modular
Mistrick, in my view, your plugin is confusing as to the settings, it could have something like 'mmap_max_rounds 8' and mmap_start_vote 5' where the maximum of rounds is 8 and voting starts at 5. I prefer your previous map manager, although this one is more compressed

Re: Map Manager Modular
Hello again :)
Is there a way to adapt the online amount of players to a specific type of maps? I have set the plugin to make votemaps with normal maps when more than 10 players are online and small maps when under 10. I have tested it and it works. When we are 2 on server, for example, and we don't nominate a map, the plugin does a vote with small maps only. But if i use /maps to show the maps to nominate, it shows all maps and all can be nominated. (The unwanted maps can be nominated but wont appear in the vote, tested) What i want is when someone use /maps, the plugin shows him only the maps according to the amount of players online. I know there is a scheduler plugin to use map lists for certain hours, but i don't want to block maps with this feature because my server does not have a regular play time. I want to block them using the online player count only. Am i missing something? Thank you in advance! :) |

Ups... Looks like i need help afterall. The issue is exactly what i wrote above. Any advise? |
Re: Map Manager Modular
MAJESTIC_SZ, What if you nominate a map for 10 people and the voting starts with 32 people? What if you nominate a map for 32 people and the voting starts with 2 people? What if I want to nominate a map for 10 people, but it doesn't qualify now, but there will be 10 people at the time of voting?
How can you block the nomination of maps for a certain number of people without knowing how many there will be at the time of voting? I remove maps that do not fit the number of people, I see no reason to block the nomination in advance. |
Re: Map Manager Modular
seems like when all nomitation-slots are used, its impossible to de-nominate a map.

Re: Map Manager Modular
Will be definitely giving this a shot on my server, thanks for sharing

Re: Map Manager Modular
I cant compile any of sma from latest version from Github...
|
Re: Map Manager Modular
worked just fine for me. make sure you're using and compiling with the latest version of amxx.
|
Re: Map Manager Modular
I dont use latest amxx verison because i dont know how to instal it.
This is the error I get with online compiler that use amxx 1.10. map_manager_core.sma(665) : error 017: undefined symbol "mci_before" map_manager_nomination.sma(229) : error 017: undefined symbol "is_one_map_mode" map_manager_nomination.sma(397) : error 017: undefined symbol "is_one_map_mode" map_manager_online_checker.sma(51) : error 017: undefined symbol "is_one_map_mode" map_manager_online_checker.sma(72) : error 017: undefined symbol "VOTE_BY_INCORRECT_ONLINE" map_manager_online_checker.sma(72) : error 088: number of arguments does not match definition map_manager_online_checker.sma(91) : error 017: undefined symbol "VOTE_BY_INCORRECT_ONLINE" map_manager_rtv.sma(93) : error 017: undefined symbol "is_one_map_mode" map_manager_scheduler.sma(389) : error 017: undefined symbol "LRS_Last" map_manager_scheduler.sma(390) : error 017: undefined symbol "LRS_Final" map_manager_scheduler.sma(390) : warning 213: tag mismatch map_manager_scheduler.sma(629) : error 017: undefined symbol "LRS_Last" map_manager_scheduler.sma(629) : warning 213: tag mismatch map_manager_scheduler.sma(640) : error 017: undefined symbol "LRS_Last" map_manager_scheduler.sma(640) : warning 213: tag mismatch |
Re: Map Manager Modular
you can't run plugins compiled on amxx 1.10 on a server that uses amxx 1.8.2 for example. compiling online is also a bad idea. always compile locally in your pc and with the amxx version that is running on your server.

Re: Map Manager Modular
I managed to install 1.9 compiler and now i can compile all sma files.Thanks.
I need help with the following: I cant hear sound for nomination start and nomination end.I use this sounds:"sound/gman/gman_choose1.wav" and "sound/nihilanth/nil_freeman.wav". Also im not sure what this cvar is for:mapm_nom_maps_in_vote 3 (maximum number of nominated maps in a vote) |
Re: Map Manager Modular
I forgot to insert plugin for voice that is why i didnt hear the sounds.
I need info about this situation: example from maps.ini cs_assault_shadow 0 32 When player vote for this map in maps list, in chat says player voted for cs_assault_shadow.But I want to say in chat player vote for cs_assault_shadow(0 32). Or is it possible in maps list when player say /maps,we get list like this de_dust2 (0 32) cs_assault (0 20) etc etc... |
