How do I vote to turn on or off some plug-ins?
My server has installed some plug-ins that favor survivors, such as auto respawn, auto help, etc... players play noncommittal in coop and survival mode, and if I want to add the function of voting to change mode, these plug-ins are likely to be unpopular in versus/scavenge mode.
I think it is an act of disrespect for the opinions of players to unilaterally enable them in coop and survival mode and disable them in versus and scavenge.Because occasionally, most people in the server want to keep these plug-ins, even if the mode is changed to versus and scavenge. So I want players to decide whether to turn on or off these unbalanced plug-ins, whether in versus or scavengers, or in coop and survival If I unload some plug-ins when a vote is passed and use load_lock command; and use load_unlock command when another vote is passed and load those previously unloaded plug-ins, is that possible..? |
Re: How do I vote to turn on or off some plug-ins?
Would it be easier to load plugins from .../disabled folder.
Plugins in .../plugins folder and sub-folders are automatically loaded when map start. But plugins under .../plugins/disabled/ folder are not. You manually load or unload those. This is my tip I throw to you. You should also understand, depends some plugins how those are coded, some maybe not work correctly when load during game or you unloading plugin some "effect" stay on. You maybe need check, can you disable plugin just by changing plugin cvar "enabled" to off, zero. Then perhaps use configure file to disable by cvars. etc. etc. so many ways. |
