Delay connection/precache time

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if it's possible to lengthen the time for a player to connect.
It could be useful with a loading music as an example, like the player has to be in the connection state for like 30secs, while the connection music plays.

A connection is designed to happen as quickly as possible and is only slowed down by necessary steps that take time executing. I doubt that the developers of the game thought that they should add a method to make their code worse. If there does exist something that allows this, I would expect it to be a bug.

Why would anyone want to sit in front of the screen and listen to a 30 seconds long audio file rather than get in the game and play? Sounds like something that would make players leave the server before even getting in.

I just wanted to give it like a 5sec minimum delay, so the music ain't just starting and finishing.

Then simply play the music when the player enters the server rather than while he is still connecting. I don't think there is a way you can delay the connection, nor do I think that it's smart to do so.
