Bugtesting: Pest Spray 0.3.2:15b

Pest Spray 0.3.2:15b

Download: http://downloads.darkdreams.se/pestspray_0.3.15b.exe
Website: http://www.darkdreams.se/?page=Pestspray_description

1) The download is an installer. If you are uncomfortable with it automaticly changing your plugins.ini file then uncheck "Configure AMXX".

2) Install to your cstrike folder (ex: c:\hlserver\cstrike\)

3) The files installed are ps_main.amxx and ps_guardian.amxx

4) The installer will not install anything to your configs directory, it will create a seperate directory named "pest_spray" in the amxmodx root.

5) A uninstaller will be created, use it to remove all files that have been installed.

----------------

Now when thats out of the way. This is not a coding help request. I simply need some people to tell me wether this plugin will load on your server (or "bad load" etc), if you notice that people are being banned without cheating and general performance stuff.

Also, for those who are more into coding - id be happy to recive some advice on alterations to the code base :)

Q: What is pest spray?
An automatical plugin, 100% configurable, designed to repell cheaters. Check out the website and read the description.

Q: Shouldnt you post this in the "aproval request" board?
No. This is an unstable release, therefore i dont want this to be confused with something that is ready for public release as a finnished product. I only need some basic help with testing the plugin and code examination.

Btw, thanks alot to all the folks i have snatched code from / helped with translations etc. I know that the credits list isnt complete, im working on it :)

I don't know if this is the right place for this - but, I have installed this with no errors onto a rented server using the installer (I have it mapped as a network drive). Can the installer cope with using ftp? If not can that be added for those others who rent a server? (Like the amxmodx installer)

More importantly (for myself) does this log its actions anywhere (as in kicks, bans and warnings given)? This would allow the less technically able (ie ME) to provide some useful feedback on its effectiveness and/or false positives.

Thanks for this, I think this remove a lot of work from 'policing' my server.

Easy question with easy answer : nope, at this point the installer can't remotely install the plugin. I'll see to it that this feature will be avaiable in the future.

Yes, this plugin saves entries in a log file. In the near future a more user friendly log-file system will be introduced.

Wouldn't it be easier for everyone if you just posted the source ?

Since i requested for performance feedback and not a code evaluation i felt it unnecessary to provide the sources.

They are however avaiable publicly at this repository: https://opensvn.csie.org/viewcvs.cgi/?root=pestspray
