Will someone please test this port?

Was originally made by freecode someone requested SoccerMod so i ported this so test away.

Code:

Server Commands :

sm_freekick <1/2>: 1 = Terrorists / 2 = Counter-Terrorists
    Creates a Freekick in penalty area for relevent team
sm_resetball:
    Resets Ball to kickoff point
sm_ballskin <1/2/3>:
    Changes Ball skin to relevent skin number
sm_spawnball:
    Spawns the Ball entity
sm_halftime:
    Makes Halftime
 
CVAR Commands :
sm_team1 :
    Changes Team1 to new name
sm_team2 :
    Changes Team2 to new name

Generic Commands :
sm_findball:
    Makes Ball indicating beam
say /smhelp:
    Displays help info about SoccerMod
setinfo _sm_status <0/1/2/3>: 0 = Nothing / 1 = Score / 2 = Time / 3 = Score & Time
    Displays the relevent info at top center on you HUD
setinfo _sm_nohelp <0/1>: 0 = Displays help message / 1 = Off
    Displays help info at start of new round
bind "any-letter-here" "+alt1":
    Allows for speed boosting

It wasn't soley made by Freecode!

A newer version of this is coming, I've already been working on and off on it for the past few days.

Default name will be Football Mod, so I would recommend ceasing development on this, also that isn't the last stable version 0.6.5 was! I've also hooked back up with Q}Me are resident mapper for SoccerMod.

I'll keep you guys informed hows its coming along, anyhow time to code in the objectives. (I'm rebuilding it from scratch)

Check the .sma next time before you acuse me of something.
if you get a error of unknown plugin put the .smas in ur AMXX folder then compile them then retry ^_~,

Also not everyone wants to wait this should last them till the new one tho.

this SoccerMod was made by AssKicR, Bludy, Freecode, and T(+)rget.
For AMX i ported it to AMXX with help from v3x.

Nope no copying, this mod was created first. I just made my own Soccer type gameplay.
This mod plays by realism rules, mine doesn't, in essence they are both 2 totally different mods.

Least some interest has been established, since when it got released on AMX not very must interest was taken. I believe it was down to the name "Soccer" since most europeans only know of it as "Football" apart from us at the UK.

Just tested that sm_soccerjam, do not use it for Soccer/Football Mod. sm_oldtrafford was specifically designed with custom entities.

I've attached the other 2 offical maps, I've made up overviews for them all. sm_oldtrafford overview is inside as well, enjoy.

2 ways:
1) Run into it, goes into the direction your running
2) Press +attack whilst you touch it, it takes into consideration where you are looking, hence how you can kick it up in the air.

Note:
Boosting whilst pressing +attack will hit it even harder.

Football Mod: Progress
1) Boosting, hooks health message 100 = max boost, lose 10hp per second (+alt1). Recharge is 6 seconds (gain 10hp).
2) Kicking, hooks armor message 100 = max power, gain 10ap per 0.1 secs. Lose all ap per 0.5. Depends on whether or not your holding +attack.
3) Ball animation, rolls on angles accordingly to speed. Works alot better than original which was based on frames.
4) Ball reflection, works correctly now.
5) Removed shoot.wav, no longer needed since its the same as touch.wav but has a higher pitch + slightly louder.
6) Removed crossbar.wav, its near impossible to implement 100% successfully and its not really worth it.
7) Added overviews to all offical maps.

Can you get near the ball, ie not being pushed backwards away from it?

80% complete so far, so no testing this weekend since I can't do anymore coding til Sunday evening.

Stupid damn throwin system is all I say, took me all day to code this. I found the problem with the current version when sometimes you couldn't hit the ball. I could reproduce this bug 10/10, not going to say how since people might exploit it just to wind others up using SoccerMod. Just hope the new system is fine with laggy clients.

Basically I've got to finish the possession system, fouling system and build changing halfs and build the models back in Team 1 and Team 2 above the goals.

DO NOT USE SOCCERJAM MAP WITH SOCCERMOD!!!!!

It won't work, since soccerjam.bsp isn't setup for it. Soccer/Football uses special entities which is compiled within the map. Besides that what is the point its the same as sm_oldtrafford except this has the special entities required.
