[REQ] Cross server admin chat

Alright, i have 4 servers for my community and i think it would be great to be able to talk to all admins using admin chat. So it would show

(ScoutzKnivez) !G | Krypt!c says: Hey wats up
(Assault) Admin says: Hey man, nm u?

The Stuff in () is the name of the server. You specify what you want to show in a .ini or w/e.

Also enable like a user type u! hey, hacker in this server. And it shows to admins on all servers...

(Rats) Username says: hey, hacker in this server.

Also i cant remember who did this plugin, its reasonably new... i tinhk its curry king, you type /admin and it shows you the current admins online. I think it'd be neat to alter that slightly to either show in an motd window, or print to screen the admins online and what server their in.

This can be done with RCON i think.

how can rcon send msgs to other servers? and allow regular users use an admin chat sorta thing to msg all admins on all servers, and also show neone who types /admin what admins are online...

not trying to be rude.. just seriously if rcon can do all this plz explain heh.

Haha, ha, ha.

That's funny.

There's 2 ways of doing it off the top of my head:

1) Stargate style (it's a mod), I think it uses an SQL database and queries it every once in a while. This is really inefficient and can stall the server really easily.

2) Sockets (probably the best), but would be hard to do between more than 2 servers. What you can do is specify one "master server", and then have the others route their communications to that one master.

Well, the sockets method is probably the best then, as i'd like all servers to get the messages anyways. So its doable right?

I don't know anything about sockets, but it's possible for sure.

If no one else that knows sockets volunteers to help, then I'll just learn it quickly and try this.

I've started on it. I'm trying to do it with sockets but I got a rude awakening when I realized that AMXX has no sockets server support. This means that the master server must be done in PHP, and you need root access to that server.
