Intercepting 'status' command

Since Brad and his infinite wisdom banned me from the IRC channel just after I asked this question, I have no choice but to ask it here.

Does anyone happen to know how to intercept the command 'status' and then block it? I've already thought of client_command but I don't think you can block it with that - correct me if I'm wrong.

try

Code:
register_forward(FM_ClientCommand, "whatever");

probably will have the same effect as client_command() though.

edit: oops, v3x, you're right; changed

The first parameter isn't a string.

That won't work, it probably will be handled by the client, meaning htere is no way to catch/block it.

Why would you want to though?

I deliberately severed the connection between my server and my client, and I was unable to get a reply for status. I don't know if that means anything, because everything (other than aliases I think) lock up once the server's connection is dead.

I need to change the Steam ID of someone so they can't be identified by that. I've already done it to amx_who but I can't find a way to change it with status.
