What is precache Manager?
I have seen some plugins on the forum that claim to be precache managers, but what does that exactly mean?
I have a few questions in regards to this, hopefully someone can answer.

Re: What is precache Manager?
What plugins are you talking about? Link?
I only know HamletEagle's Plugin being able to replace a default model with a new one without taking another precache slot. |

Re: What is precache Manager?
You can unprecache stuff like this:
PHP Code:
About precache limit, it also depends on the map you are playing because each map has it's own precache. So you need a realistic precache counter. Search posts by Hornet, he made a cool precache counter that counts every precached file. (It requires Orpheu, amxx by default can't count all the precaches) |

Re: What is precache Manager?
Thanks for all the replies, but my question still remains unanswered.
What is the benefit of using those plugins? |
Re: What is precache Manager?
It allows you to prevent unused resources from being precached so you can precache others instead (only necessary when you get to that 512 limit).

Re: What is precache Manager?
Or be smart, be safe and install Hornet precache count and get a better control over your server avoiding 512 limit
