How to compile plugins for i586?

do anybody know how to compile i586 plugins?
because webcompiler & compiler included with amxx create i686 plugins which cannot be run on i586 machine..
..and my k6-2 is only i586, and i won't upgrade at close time..

plugins are plugins: There is no OS dependency in plugins; just in the system running them.

no,no,no, i dont think so, i have recompiled amxmodx for i586, metamod for i586, but when i run it without plugins...there is no problem, and then when i enable plugins...then i have error msg, which is saying about illegal instruction

i run the same compiled .sma's (.amxx) on both my win32 and linux servers... and its about 50plugins and i have no problems...

AMX Mod X is compiled for "i586" CPUs on Linux already. There is no need to recompile it for anything higher.

Plugins are not OS or processor dependent, they work anywhere, so if they're failing to load it's because you compiled Core wrong (most likely your CPU did not support i586 instructions).

If AMX Mod X is not working on your CPU by default then it's possible the instruction set is too old for even that. You can post a bug report in this case.

i have the problem with hlds.... when i run amxx with plugins it causes server crash and error msg that $HL_CMD has failed due to illegal instruction..my hw is amd-k6-2 550, first time i hvae problem running amxx, but when i recompiled it, amxx runs ok, ...until i load som e plugins it crashes when the plugin have to work....

Most likely it's crashing due to the internal plugin optimizer. I'm in the process of adding a feature where users with old CPUs can tweak the optimizer.

This will be in 1.71.
