[TF2][$] Sentry Skins
Is it possible to make sentry with custom skin?

Well, maybe by using some custom models but every client would have to download the new model(s) and change the model when someone deploys a sentry. I think that the worst problem will be the custom models, you will need to edit their path (like when you use a custom skin in a model manager/ff2 plugin.

I have made this plugin before. It works, but you need to replace all the models, and there are quite a few (2-3 per building level), also 1 per blueprint. They are easy to hex though. Blueprints are a bit buggy, might want to stay away from those, because they break on updates. If you pack the models into a custom map, and use just that map, it's a bit more managable.

Already told you, you need to make the textures for whatever you want to switch, then you need to replace all of the models. With custom/rehexed ones There are a lot of models because they have different bone structures while building than while deployed. A sourcemod plugin is required to manage changing all of the models properly. As I said before, I've written it in the past.

You think there would be a model manager for buildings or a attaching props to buildings plugin by now
Most I have seen were just resizing,recoloring and adding hats. |
