Is it a GoldSrc or Source1 based game?

You sure? I would have guessed Source based on the details I could find. One way to confirm is to look at the server files, anyone know the AppID for the server?

SteamDB only has one entry for Nexon at all, and that's just the Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies game (which is appid 273110).

Having said that, it pulls in a depot named "VC 2013 Redist" meaning that it's compiled in Visual Studio 2013... does GoldSrc even compile in VC++ 2013?

Side note: List of allowed countries (as of 2ish hours ago) is

Code:

AT BE BG HR CY CZ DK EE FI FR DE GR HU IE IT LV LT LU MT NL PL PT RO SK SI ES SE IM JE GS GB GG UK IS LI NO CH RU AM AZ BY KZ KG MD TJ UZ US CA AU NZ UA RS BA GE MX
Edit:
Since this is being billed as an "MMOFPS" you'd think they'd have just one central server and no distributed server binary anyway.

Kinda off-topic, BUT HOW DO YOU OPEN THOSE .nar FILES? Last time I checked, couldn't find something to open them, I've heard they're some kind of package... What tool do I need in order to explore them?

Well, the game looks much like GoldSrc and multiple news pages confirm that.
Search NarExtractor at GameBanana.

And Powerlord is correct, there won't be any server files to host your own servers.

Re: AMXX support the Counter Strike Nexton?

Looks like it may not even be source1 or goldsrc seeing as there's something called: HShield which for some odd reasons I think Combat Arms has something like that...

Edit: It's called Hack Shield, and I believe Combat Arms has something called that...
2nd Edit: Seems like Nexon Korea Corporation created the game.
Edit 3: I rest my case that Counter Strike Nexon: Zombies IS NOT a game AMXX or SM can support. I also found out I was right in that Combat Arms also uses HShield

Metin2 uses HShield too (there are many more games that uses it), but it doesn't use the same engine that Combat Arms uses.
I say CSO Nexbs is a GoldSrc based game.

Ya but after I launched Combat Arms, it turned out CSN:Z was developed by the same company that combat arms was developed by.
