Well, whenever the new Hale model is done, I also have the new Vagineer model working now [he can be headshotted properly and the wrench isn't attached to his model anymore].
I didn't do this forever ago because in my infinite wisdom, I forgot to remove the code that hides the wrench's model so it'd be visible on the new model. Also gonna need to fix TeleportToMultiMapSpawn... however or another it can 'script execution time out' so I'll probably just change it to cache locations of spawns instead of their entities. I guess spawns are recreated at the start/end of rounds or something weird. |

Can someone send me the new hale model [not the physical version] + materials + working ragdoll [that was made, right?] with this file path:
If you still want to try making gibs for Hale, I'm up for testing that now too. models/player/saxton_test/saxton_hale_test2.mdl materials/models/player/saxton_test/materialname_test2.ext I don't seem to be changing the filepaths of the materials correctly with mdlhexer or something and can't get missing textures to go away for testing. If you could add me on steam so I could do this testing faster that'd be cool too. After I have verified that it works in-game the final filepath will be models/player/saxton_hale2/saxton_hale_mk2 and material_mk2.ext for materials. After I get a tested and working 'normal/non-redux' hale confirmed I can move on to other things like HHH gibs/sarysa's Super Hale. |

Needa increment the filename of any changed files by 1
[saxton_hale_test3.mdl] I tried to in MDLHexer but that changed it into an ERROR, so I suppose you need to internally or something. If it's unchanged then me / people trying to download it to help test will be unable to as it conflicts the old. ô.o [sorry i'm p unreliable in the realm of model editing] |

Alright, the ragdoll works, but not the gibs. Tested via /explode and crit rockets.
Also I see that all the materials are in saxton_test3/, and that the model for hale/gibs is in saxton_test3/ but in mdlhexer the modelpath is still saxton_test/ [and it ERROR'd before I changed the model to be in that folder]. edit: all the gibs point to saxton_test/ internally too In any case, the folder doesn't need to change, just the filenames of files that were changed. I'm not really sure what path the textures are supposed to be in now, since there's duplicates in saxton_test/ and saxton_test3/... I'm gonna test that in a bit. edit: Materials are saxton_test3/ Well as long as it works, since these are all temporary folders. But mentioning just so you're aware. Edit: I guess the materials are still saxton_test/, and that my game just cached them, as they aren't working after closing TF2 and reopening. Fixed when I changed download back to that folder. No gibs still tho. |

Still no gibs showing, but the ragmodel works still.
I noticed that armgibl and armgibR are randomly capitalized/uncapitalized. Can you leave the filename of everything lowercase? Having caps in it probably causes problems for Linux servers [and it breaks my PrepareModel() stock which assumes the .mdl / .vtx / .phy filepaths have the same base - preventing some parts from downloading meaning I have to list them all manually]. (The gibs were tested with the full download in place). lolfilenames |

I can't get the gibs to drop, but I think it might be due to something in TF2. Like maybe due to the censored German version of the game, they have some list of what models can and can't be a gib for a playable character or bot boss? I honestly don't know. |

Just got back on track after few weeks. I updated everything from MM:S to SM and used the "1.53" version where it wasnt compiling if #define EASTER_BUNNY was getting rid of. I tried to recompile it vanilla (not even removing the bunny) and got this : Code:
