Yeah that worked, Must of been an old folder. For some reason players are respawning. Do we still have to use config_arena.cfg? I have dealt with arena type modes for a little while.

either way whenever I update it I was already planning to make that change since Powerlord mentioned it

I'm sure I've said this before, but...

tf/custom is used for organizational purposes.

Ex:
  • tf/custom/vsh/ is where all my VSH stuff lives.
  • tf/custom/prophunt/ is where all my PropHunt stuff lives.
  • tf/custom/mapconfigs/ is where all my map configuration files live (helps keep cfg/ clean).
  • tf/custom/custommaps/ is where most of my custom maps live. VSH, PropHunt, and Workshop maps excepted.

Incidentally, you're wrong about where it gets stored on the client. It appears in tf/download on the client just like files outside of the custom directory. The client is not aware of the custom directory on the server-side.

FastDL files also appear in the standard locations... i.e. tf/custom/vsh/maps/vsh_canyon_b1.bsp ends up being http://tf2.rbemrose.com/fastdl/maps/...yon_b1.bsp.bz2 on my FastDL server (note: I made up the map name)

How to upgrade from VSH1.52 >> VSH1.53? What are the folders / files required to be replaced?

Any changes required on FastDL?

...kind of, but I wouldn't suggest it.
