Lower the volume of gun shots and other emited sounds?
I was thinking about hooking when an entity emits a sound, blocking it and then manually re-emiting it with the same properties, only the volume changed.

You still cant change client-side sounds that way. (If we are talking about gunshots).
If the sound was emitted though EmitSound/EmitAmbientSound you can try hooking FM_EmitSound and resend it again with new volume. |
