Re: [CS:GO] ChaseMod (aka HNS) [v1.1.4, 26.05.2014]

@Ownkruid:Thanks for your feedback! And wow, a server ... can't wait to play!
Version 1.2 is up.
Quote:

* Players do not get killed anymore when the teams are being swapped. This means the timeleft on a map should not reset when CTs win.
* Added ConVar to block the player's ability of changing its team. Spectators can still join a team.
* Added ConVar to disable flashblind on Ts and spectators.
* Some small fixes.
This version has not been tested. Please report any unwanted behaviour.
This is probably going to be the last version before I change the structure of the plugin, unless a bug is found.

Re: [CS:GO] ChaseMod (aka Hide and Seek) [v1.2, 01.06.2014]

The plugin started to randomly crash the server for Ownkruid, with no error logs. Did anybody else encounter this problem? Can anybody tell what can (usually) cause this?
Edit: Found out a knives skin plugin was causing the crashes. These don't go well along with the HNS plugin.

It havnt crashed my server anytime, so its probably something else that make it crash.
Also I'm only running this plugin atm on my server.

Great plugin btw(I really missed the old 1.6 hns)!

Something I would like to see(in this or a seperate plugin): Random chance of getting a weapon(with 1-3 bullets, for example: 5% chance of getting a five seven with 2 bullet)/HEgrenade for both teams that is configurable. :)
I am looking forward for the next update of it, hope you get that frostnade to work soon. :wink:

Tell me if there is something I can do to bugtest it, since I am only running this plugin atm on my server!

Edit: some spelling, probably still really bad ;)

/Harax

It is like it was in cs 1.6.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIf_2qmlqMM

Edit: So you won't turn in to a random prop(like bush, tree, barrel etc) as Terrorist(you look normal)
with a chance of getting flash, smoke and molotov, you can configure the chance of all this. Counter-Terrorist only have knife.
(As it is right know)

@TUSK3N1337: Those log errors have already been fixed in the 1.2.1 version of the plugin which I haven't released yet because I thought it was crashing the server.
@Harax: Thanks for letting me know that everything works ok and I'm glad you like it. I probably won't add any weapons to the mod, I think it changes the gameplay in a destructive way. Ts shouldn't be able to one-shot kill CTs (by headshot).

I'm going to add more functions and fixes to the plugin in the near future (probably in 2 weeks or so). Until then I'm still waiting for people who can confirm a crash. I attached version 1.2.1.

I have just loaded the chasemod.smx (the new one) and its still crashing I have the latest stable snapshot, and as fast as I remove chasemod.smx it doens't crash.

It doesn't crash directly but after like 2-3 maps it crashes.

Re: [CS:GO] ChaseMod | Hide and Seek (HNS) [v1.3, 06.07.2014]

Thanks to TUSK3N1337 for testing and debugging.

Version 1.3 is up.
Quote:

* Fixed the first bugged timer occuring during/after warmup.
* The grenade running speed is now 250, altough cl_showpos will still say the velocity is 245.
* Ts can't throw their grenades until the countdown is over.
* Reworked the countdown system.
* CTs can no longer pickup grenades. (they will be left on the ground)
* Fixed grenade probability simulation.
* Fixed client 0 / world and dividing by 0 errors in log.
* Added a ConVar to allow or block knife usage while player is frozen.
I'll be adding frostnades and some optimisations soon.
