[REQ][TF2] Homing Projectile
 
I know alliedmodders already have similar plugins
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1677173 or
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=162888
but that plugins dosen't have for one user only.

if someone want use homing rocket, he chat !homing, and he get homing rocket
not all people in server

I try modify cool rocket, homing projectile but all failure
please help




oh
that's not for vip. my server dosen't have vip
I just really don't want see all people use homing rocket

Well, for those people who are looking for the RTD's homing projectiles

Here it is.

Commands :
sm_homingprojectiles - Toggle Homing Projectiles

Usage


ConVars :
  • sm_homingprojectiles_version - Plugin Version (Don't touch it)
  • sm_homingprojectiles_enable - Enable/Disable the plugin (default = "1")
  • sm_homingprojectiles_canseeeveryone - Enable/Disable the projectile able to see invisble/disguised spies (default = "0")

  • sm_homingarrowhead - Toggle Homing arrow to target head
  • sm_hominghead - Same as above

  • sm_homingfeet - Same as above

Note :
  • All Commands Access are Slay Flag
  • The method for homing arrow head is shit (I mean, you have 6/10 to headshot your enemy)
  • It good if you tell me what errors you get or some suggestions

  • About sm_homingprojectiles_mod, here is the list :
    • 1 - Projectiles will target the owner
    • 2 - Projectiles will target the real owner (it means if a pyro airblast the projectile, the owner of the projectile is targeted
    • 4 - Projectiles will target enemies
    • 8 - Projectiles will target allies
    • 16 - Projectiles have smooth movement (It's useless Alone. Also, the projectile will lose a little his precision)

    If you want to add more than one mod, just add the value, for example :
    • You want target enemies and have projectiles smooth movement :

Besides necro and your code having a couple issues, I find it funny that you did everything else but what OP asked for which was for all players to have access to homing projectiles automatically. :wink:

Where are issues ? I'll fix them.

Add a convar to the plugin to make it so every player has it on by default and that'll nullify my comment.

Ok I'll make it.

For the ConVar, you want everyone have homing projectiles, but do you want also have Homing "Headshot" Arrow ? (in the same ConVar)

I think there is an error in your script code, for example :

The ConVar is disabled, a player is on the server, if the ConVar change to be enabled, the player will not get Homing Projectiles because the value "bHasHomingProjectiles[iClient]" didn't changed

Here is my version. Thanks for this suggestion.

[EDIT] the ConVar name is :

sm_homingprojectiles_all - Homing Projectiles for everyone Default value : 0

0 to default because not every server operator will want that on constantly.
