SM doesn't load after move to SteamPipe (solved, user error)

So I've updated 3 servers to SteamPipe and since I was using older snapshots of MM and SM I've updated those too. However, only MM loads, SM does not. Am I using the right version or is there something I need to change for SteamPipe?

I've first tried MM v1.10.0-hg837 and SM v1.5.0-hg3833, then notice a newer SM version had just been released (v1.5.0-hg3834), but it didn't work for me either.

This is on Linux.

EDIT
Ok seems the SteamPipe update didn't go through for some reason, I'm trying it manually now.

EDIT 2
It's still showing the same version as above, did I install into the wrong dir or is that indeed the SteamPipe version?

Re: SM doesn't load after move to SteamPipe

I fixed it by using the "metaplugins.ini" instead of "sourcemod.vdf".

Re: SM doesn't load after move to SteamPipe

I found the update script doesn't handle the tilde, I was indeed installing to the wrong dir because of that.

So this does NOT work as expected:

force_install_dir ~/port_27015_server_01/orangebox

Makes sense if you think about it: The tilde is extended by the shell (e.g. bash), and the steamcmd script isn't a shell script.

So yeah this was entirely my fault, edited the thread title accordingly.
