With regards to SteamCMD
After having attempted to set up Killing Floor servers in a CentOS distro, I noticed that Valve said they will be moving forward with SteamCMD at some point in the future and discontinuing HLDS updating. Apparently the "only game" SteamCMD supports now is CS:GO but I was able to update it with Killing Floor.
Is there a list of all the games supported by SteamCMD? A fast Googling didn't net me anything and I'd rather learn the new stuff now than when everything's phased out. |
Re: With regards to SteamCMD
CS:GO, CS 1.6 (the current beta, being released later this week), Nuclear Dawn, Killing Floor.
Of these, all but KF support anonymous login rather than requiring a Steam account. |
Re: With regards to SteamCMD
Natural Selection 2, Red Orchestra 2, and Empires mod are a few more that have dedicated servers on SteamCMD, all requiring a login.
