Also, is there a way to allow everyone to see the unusual menu?

Works fine for me, no problems at all

@Angel54689
Re-Setup the database

@Pitbull3
In the "unusual_permissions.cfg", set the second value of everything to -1

So just started having issues with this plugin causing CPU spikes and lagging the server, found this in error log. Any idea how to fix this?

Code:

Just set up this plugin and tested out the 'Show effects' option on the menu

This is what it shows me:

I ran a Windows Defender scan and this is what it came up with:

THIS IS A TROJAN. DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN UNTIL VERIFIED SAFE TO USE

The author's website hosted a page to show the list of available unusual effects, that domain is now in the control of someone else and is displaying malicious advertising. This is harmless to your computer other than the spam messages when the webpage is opened in the MOTD. I don't know what was on that web page and it doesn't appear to have been archived anywhere, but you "just" need to host a replacement somewhere and recompile the plugin with the "WEBSITE" define changed at the top of the file.

I have to disagree here, that bottom picture is the evidence of me getting a Trojan on my personal PC, not my dedicated server!

But yes I can see from the .sp file that if the web address were to be changed, the issue should be resolved. Until the author does that so that it becomes the default (not relying on people to make the edit's themselves), I personally won't be re-downloading this plugin.

No, Windows Defender is just detecting the JS in the browser cache. The only thing it does is popup that message trying to get you to phone a fake tech support number.

Can't get the plugin to load, not even with the ItemsDB fully updated.

I did add a few new unusual effects, but when I used the CVARs in console it came up with a "Unknown command" prompt.

Anyone care to "fix" the part where is regenerates clients health/ammo on when add effect on the fly. People are abusing it to escape death of course.
