about alive player's view
how to set an alive player's view follow another alive player's view?
i used engfunc(EngFunc_SetView, id, id) ... but the view doesn't follow and the position is not very suit... created a cam(entity) and used engfunc(EngFunc_SetView, id, entid)... could set the position. but the view doesn't follow also. tried entity_set_int(id,EV_INT_iuser3,id) //just know Iuser3 can set the camera endpos to the killer! but nothing appear... how to .....?? PS: what's EV_INT_iuser3,EV_INT_iuser2,EV_INT_iuser4,EV_ INT_iuser1? |
You will have to make a camera and constantly update its position, or set it to follow the person by setting its movetype to MOVETYPE_FOLLOW and it's EV_ENT_aiment to the ent it should follow, and then update the camera's angles to that of the player's as well I believe.
EV_INT_user1-4 are just custom variables put in by Valve so mod-makers had more space to easily store data. |
