Slow scripting

Hey guys. Once my plugins becomes too long, for example plugin having a 5k line, suddenly the writing of the plugin is really slow with a delay. I press a button and it appears only after 1 second and sometimes it appears after 0.2 seconds or something around that.

What can I do to make it faster beside writing the codes in another .sma tab?

( I am talking about AMX Studio if you are confused )

notepad++? =\
The thing I like about AMX Studio is that when you type the function it gives you params details, so you dont have to look at the AMX wiki everytime you forget, also it has its generator ( which i dont use often but w/e).

And what do you mean arkshine edition? Got any link?

That's why it lags. Since AMXX studio cycles through everything in the code in the autocompletion (be it functions, variables, constants etc), it lags once your code is big enough. Disabling it when the code starts to lag will help.

@Backstabnoob - Thanks, now I got it why it lags.
@Connor - Nevermind I found his Npp edition, will try it. thanks! :D

EDIT - Look at something wierd, I installed his npp program, and when I copy paste my 6k lines plugin, it isn't responding no more ;p
what should I do?

EDIT 2 - Nvm its working now.

EDIT 3 - His edition is really great. It isn't lagging at all and still got the params details window thing and auto-completion! Gonna definitely use it, thanks connor. :)

EDIT 4 - Listen.. it has a crashing problems. I write the code and suddenly the program doesnt respond. I lost all the what I was writing...

Yes, but mine is 6k. I'm trying to get a comfortable editor for not lagging while writing the code. I guess I'll use the normal NPP afterall, with the C++ syntax, its the best I can find for now.

What do you mean by "I write the code"??? If you are having issues with copy/pasting 5k lines then you should just open the file with npp . . .

If you still have issues then I would recommend that you install the original npp to see if it is specific to Arkshine's custom version. I've never used his version before but I do use the official version.

Arkshine's edition has PAWN language integrated, and auto completion.
