steam update problems....again

Be carefull when you udate your server (for me a linux) using ./steam
It delete the liblist.gam and metamod don't work anymore...like some month ago
If you recreate your liblist.gam after the update, and run your server normally (using -autoupdate), the file is not overwritten anymore.

Skip changing the liblist.gam... add the -dll options to the startup options instead...

/X

In you startup line add the "-dll" option to point to metamod (if that's why you edited "liblist.gam").

Ex. of my startup line
Code:

./hlds_run -game cstrike -dll addons/metamod/dlls/metamod_i386.so
/X

Sorry for the delayed answer.... the option is the same on windows, but you should change the path to the one you used to put in liblist.gam (not sure of the top of my head but I think it's normally):

-dll addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll

/X
