light problem
 
Hello,

Today i reach the TE_DLIGHT limit.
if my flames burning on floor they will do too much like that ohter light will disappears.
I always forgot that cs1.6 is not css :):)

There are 50 TE_DLIGHT possible on one time right?
Anyway, is there possible to make world light effect without that stupid goldsource dynamic light message?

If you need to throw 50 messages in one time, then you better find a better approach to make your weapon without insulting randomly the engine for you lack of imagination/optimization.

50 messages in one time is too few, i need more than 512 messages.
there are soo many effects on server if there are 32 players.

Now i also reach the entity limit, i think i hate goldsource now.

The thing is you know the engine is limited (even though he can still do amazing thing) ; instead of searching of flooding by sending as much you can messages, try to be creative and find a better approach to make the effect. I've remembered seeing code for such weapon, it was not throwing a billion of entity at once and the effect was good. You are just very bad to optimize something ; just a matter to trick things, using the right sprites, etc.
