Decompress Error
I have a plugin (relativly large) that REFUSES to run. Every time i put in in the config, i get the following error
Code:
L 08/24/2005 - 20:56:46: [AMXX] Zlib error encountered: -3(12821)BTW: yes, I have compiled several times |
This most likely means you are running a 1.0 plugin on a 1.5 core, it might not be able to handle it.
Where was it compiled and what are you running it on? |
Yes, I did compile it on 1.01 for my 1.50 amxmodx... but it worked for all of my other plugins... Man, i guess im just stuck without it until they fix the 1.5 linux compiler

The 1.50 compiler works fine. The reason this occurs is a rather nasty bug in the 1.01 .amx combiner in amxxsc -- large plugins have their size estimated incorrectly, and there isn't enough memory reserved to decompress them.

ah, yes... i just recompiled with 1.55 and is still didnt work :( but i split it into 2 plugins and it works now :)
|
how large was the plugin?
it's a serious problem, I would like to try debugging it if you send me the source code :) |
