Does this plugin only record movement or is it possible to record grenade throws too and which grenade was thrown.

Which botmimic version do you use?
That error message doesn't match the line in 2.1

Re: [CS:S/CS:GO] Bot Mimic - Record your movements (Version 2.1 updated 02.10.2014)

Hey, nice plugin. I'm integrating it into a bunnyhop timer. When bots mimic an autohop route, for nearly every jump they appear to move down on the z axis and back up rapidly, maybe some sort of positional correction? When spectating the bot it appears the same as if a player taps crouch in mid-air. Setting cvar bot_crouch 1 fixes the issue. Do you know if there's a better solution?

edit: This is for Counter-Strike: Source

Opened issue on github, but also posting on here just in case you miss it:

Code:

L 03/18/2016 - 00:16:42: SourceMod error session started
L 03/18/2016 - 00:16:42: Info (map "bhop_impecible_csgo") (file "errors_20160318.log")
L 03/18/2016 - 00:16:42: [SM] Native "CloseHandle" reported: Handle 64ba0762 is invalid (error 1)
L 03/18/2016 - 00:16:42: [SM] Displaying call stack trace for plugin "botmimic.smx":
L 03/18/2016 - 00:16:42: [SM]  [0]  Line 278, G:\addons\sourcemod\scripting\botmimic.sp::OnMapStart()
L 03/18/2016 - 00:20:06: Error log file session closed.

Seems to happen quite often, last night I was running through maps and this error was popping every map.

is there a way to remove the looping so that the bot mimics the movement once and stay in the last position forever?

Hi there, wondering if this would work with TF2?

Hi, I know its been a while since the last post, but since there was a CSGO update yesterday the plugin no longer registers weapons. So you can still record movement to mimic, but it doesn't show the weapon you had. It only displays an invisible knife. Any help is appreciated :) thanks

Re: [CS:S/CS:GO] Bot Mimic - Record your movements (Version 2.1 updated 02.10.2014)

That's already fixed in the repository. I haven't made a new release yet.
The latest version on github requires SourceMod 1.9-6084 or higher now for the new OnPlayerRunCmdPost forward.

It's possible to support TF2 as well, but Bot Mimic is using some features specific to Counter-Strike like weaponids right now. You'd need to extend the plugin to save the player class too when recording - I don't play TF2, so I'm not sure I'd catch all the corner cases that can happen with attributes etc. You could ask the creator of that video to submit his changes to the repository.

Sadly I cannot get this to work with the splewis practice mod. However the /mimic commands are working as intended, but the replay or actual mimic is only happening one time ( still pretty amazing ). Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Re: [CS:S/CS:GO] Bot Mimic - Record your movements (Version 2.1 updated 02.10.2014)

Would it be possible to have a tool that can get movements from demos and make them playable with this plugin?

Had the same idea here.

I was thinking something like this;
1) Pick T or CT
2) Pick timeframe from within the demo
3) Play demo whilst recording the movements between the specified timeframe
4) Export to compatible JSON structure so that the plugin understands how to read it.
5) Load the JSON and replay the recording.

I'm planning to add this feature in, I'd be happy to team up with someone on this.
