Re: [CS:S] Bot Mimic - Record your movements (Version 2.0.1 updated 22.07.2013)

Updated to version 2.1

This features a new bookmarking system which lets you assign names to certain frames during recording and allows you to jump to those bookmarks during playback.
You're now able to pause and resume recording as well. If you move while recording is paused, the bot is teleported to your new position where you resumed recording.
There also are some new config options and fixes included - see the changelog.

Download in the first post.

Changelog version 2.1 (02.10.2014):
  • Fixed crash and problems with grenades in CS:GO
  • Added bookmarks
    • Save bookmarks while recording and jump to them while playing back
    • forward to monitor when a bookmark was reached
  • Added pause and resume option during recording
    • Players can pause recording and resume whenever they like. They are teleported to the new position on resume, if they moved while recording was paused.
  • Added sm_botmimic_snapshotinterval convar to dynamically set the amount of ticks when the absolute position of the player should be saved as a reference value, to avoid having the playing back player get too much out of sync.
  • Added sm_botmimic_respawnondeath convar to control if bots should be respawned if they are killed during playback.
  • Fixed case of showing wrong menu when dismissing a recording.

Is it possible to implement a command for the mimic to start on a bot, so it is possible to have bots playing a record by default, always? Would be awesome!

Regards

Is there any simple way to implement this into another game? Copying the movements without requiring team/class even

What makes the bots look like they're crouching when they jump?

Re: [CS:S/CS:GO] Bot Mimic - Record your movements (Version 2.1 updated 02.10.2014)

Discovered bugs in CS:GO.

This is with the optional DHooks installed, without it the bugs persists aswell.

Server is crashing if, you choose the Add Bot to mimic this.. If you add a bot manually through "rcon bot_add t" fx. and then using Select Bot to mimic this.. there is no problems.. :)

Thing that would be really neat to implement would be recognizing freezetime, right now the Plugin will start mimicing even in freezetime, which "ruins" the mimic.

Last thing, if you could add something that checks if a bot is at X position at Y second, if it isn't it should do Z (fx. noclip to the position or somthing)..

Lastly, a huge thank you for making this, makes practicing tactics so much easier!!

Edit: one more bug: you are currently unable to mimic 2 flashbangs thrown in on record. (you should be able to) :)
