Spec Message for dead players

When a player is dead but spectating to someone, itīs able to recieve a MSG_SPEC message or I have to use MSG_ALL/MSG_BROADCAST?

You could just test that out.

Still, the info on that define says something else:
Quote:

#define MSG_SPEC 9 // Sends to all spectator proxies
I think "spectator proxy" = HLTV... but still, test it out :P

Re: Spec Message for dead players

For clients, use MSG_ONE_UNRELIABLE for specific player, and MSG_BROADCAST if you want the message to be sent to all players in 1 time. Alive player status is not taken in account.

Thanks, but what is the difference between reliable and unreliable?

MSG_ONE_UNRELIABLE and MSG_BROADCAST may be ignored by server/client if server/client channel is overloaded. MSG_ONE and MSG_ALL will always be delivered.
Sending too much reliable messages will cause "reliable channel overflow" error - never use MSG_ONE or MSG_ALL in such functions like Ham_TakeDamage/FM_PlayerPreThink.
