More features/suggestions:

1. In L.Dukes version after the timelimit the map was changed immediately, but now we should play the last round till someone will win it ^^ Is there any plugin to force a mapchange or you can do it in your?

2. Our server is running teambalance plugin and when it moves player to another team the class gets reset. Is it possible to do not reset the class (in L.Dukes version it worked)?

You all use the latest gamedata for sdkhooks 2? Anyone with linux shell access to the gameserver? Please attach gdb to the process, if it's crashing for you.
  1. Start your cs:s gameserver
  2. Type htop and search for the process. Remember the process id. If there are more than one process running for the same server, use the one with the lowest process id. Press F10 to close;)
  3. cd to the gameserver/orangebox directory
  4. Type
    Code:

    gdb srcds_linux PROCESSID
  5. In gdb console type continue to unfreeze the server.
  6. Play until it crashes and copy&paste the stacktrace output in the gdb console in this thread

1. There are plugins out there that do that, but i'll add an option in here directly.

2. It's necassary to reset the class, since the limit may be already reached for that class in the other team or the class the player currently is in is for his team only and doesn't exist in the other team.

I could only keep the class for no team specific classes and if the limit in the other team isn't reached already. Will do that, ok?

Sidenote: Please post your map configs if you created flag points for new maps or optimized the trigger zones in existing configs.
Any other suggestions are welcome either. I can't think of all the possibilities alone;)

There are two small bugs to notice in your plugin:

1=> We can buy weapons in the zones of purchases on maps official

2=> When we arrive on the server, the class is not to apply so much that we do not die at least once

Awsome plugin, we are going to use this in our minigame server between the minigame maps.

So a cvar to enable/disable this would be handy :D (in the mean time i unload the plugin trought mapconfigs)

I'll let you know if we encounter any bugs.

EDIT:
Dutch translation (nl) in attachements

Also a small explanation what the user has to do, on first spawn would be nice, or some sort of !help command.

1. You have sm_conquest_enablebuymenu set to 0. This disables the !buy chatcommand and enables the official "b" buymenu in buyzones. What's the question again?

2. Yes, that's fixed in the next version. The first class selection is applied directly, if the player is alive.

Thanks, added in the next release. Someone already asked for that enable cvar, but you'd still need to change the map in order to apply the change, since i can't add/remove the downloads midgame. That unloading/loading per map does the same job and is less work :)

Like a chatmessage on first spawn as CSS:DM does it? "This server is running SM:Conquest.."? It shows such a message already when assigning the default class on first spawn, but i'll add a !help panel with details about the flags and classes. You'll need to update your translation then;)

Suggestion: We should establish an ad or a rules menu that explains the rules and operation of customer orders.

Problem: When we play and we move into spectator mode, you do not see the flag.

[EDIT] Third problem with the server crashed 2 times already with over 10 players.

Running in Debian Squeeze 64, Metamod Source 1.8.6, SourceMod 1.3.7

If there is no other possibility (for example to override the limit like it was in L.Dukes version) it will be ok.

I'm planning an !help menu with information about how to play as i wrote in my previous post. You're thinking about something different when saying "explains the rules and operation of customer orders"?

1. You don't see the flag? It disappears? That's more than strange! Don't know what would cause something like that.

Hm, i thought ChangeClientTeam() and CS_SwitchTeam() fire the player_team event. If that's not the case it'll be pretty resource intensive to test the team every postthink or something :O

Which team balancer do you use?

Also other ideas:
  • How about flashing all clients screen in the color of the team, if a flag is conquered, so you hear the sound, but also have a visual effect when playing without sound? Maybe add an option for players to disable it, if they want?
  • Show enemies near to currently owned flag on radar, if they're are in the trigger zone?

I saw that you added sm_conquest_removedroppedweapons to enable removing dropped weapons each 20 seconds. Can you make that time adjustable in config?

Flashing - may be! But should be default to OFF.
Shown enemies - nice idea :) But should be also adjustable in config.

Not completely flashing, but only fading to a touch of red or blue. Players will still be able to see everything ofc;)

Now that's an pretty old plugin using custom SDKCalls. You may want to switch to different one using sdktools calls. I would assume the CS_SwitchTeam just calls the SwitchTeam function either, but it looks like Dalto's version doesn't fire the player_team event.

Il est déja en français... la seule chose qui est pas en français c'est le nom des classes, mais ça reste des noms y'a rien de compliquer sur la compréhension je trouve ^^

oui , je sais car j'ai déjà un mode conquest sur l'un de mes serveur le mode conquest n'été pas encore ici sur allied modders que je l'avait déjà sa fait plus de 2 mois qu'il est place sur mon serveur, mais celui proposer ici à des options que je n'ai pas sur le miens , et j'aimerais avoir avoir le même menu d'arme a moins que je change le nom dans le fichier cfg ou conquest amoins que je mette mon fichier

Pourquoi pas essayer de modifier le fichier de configuration "smconquest_classes.cfg" dedans tu peu modifier les classes ainsi que leurs nom, modifier les pack d'armes de chaque classes et les limites de classes par team.

My problem is :

i'm use mapcfg when i change map ( to another mod )
the round didn't finish when all team players dead .. ( ex. T players in deathrun maps )

how can fix it ?

This version addresses the reported errors in the logs and adds the discussed features except for the !help menu.

I don't know what is causing that crashes, but maybe it's fixed with some of these changes? Let's see.

I test the speed function and health it does not work :(

smconquest_classes.cfg like this in:

"health" "200" = still 100 hp

if I did not understand the operation ^ ^

Hello,
I have the mod working very well with a few exceptions.

1. On a few occasions the player will spawn and cannot see their weapons (invisible),
they also do not have any hegrenades. (newest version)
2. I would like to be able to change the sounds if possible.
If you could put the sounds in a config to be edited that would be awesome.
(I attempted to recompile without success)

/home/groups/sourcemod/upload_tmp/phpr4o6GQ.sp(23) : fatal error 120: cannot read from file: "sdkhooks" Compilation aborted. 1 Error.

I found the best idea is to use an old map cfg rename it and go in the map and move your flags.
Example:
1. Go to sourcemod/configs/smconquest and
Drag cs_office.cfg to your desktop
2. Rename cs_office.cfg to the name of the new map you want to add flags to... let's say the new map is called cs_random.
Just rename cs_office.cfg to cs_random.cfg (this would be the name of your map + .cfg)
and save it to your desktop as a .cfg file (not .txt)
3. Drag the cs_random.cfg into sourcemod/configs/smconquest
3. Go into the game and on that map (cs_random) and edit the flags (using sm_flagadmin in console)
Move and save the flags to where you want them.
DO NOT DELETE ANY FLAGS UNTIL YOU ARE DONE MOVING THE FLAGS!!!!
DO NOT ADD FLAGS... For some reason it doesnt always save in the cfg.
4. After you are done moving and saving the flags
NOW.....you can delete any UNWANTED flags you do not want!

That seems to work the best!!

Wow, 2 updates on the same day. I really need to work more carefully:nono:

You're now able to change the played sounds either by changing the smconquest_sounds.cfg.

Additionally those errors reported above are fixed either.

With only the gdb backtrace posted by CenT there is no way to determine what's causing these crashes.

Please follow the instructions in this post about attaching gdb to your linux gameserver, if you've got ssh access to the server.

Hello,

I would like to know if it was possible to ensure that by the end of each round, the losing team did more than the knife as a weapon.

Also, would it be possible to put color in the HUD at the bottom of the screen? This easy to read without having to download the client fix.
