Re: [HELP] Plugin

The message comes from the CSDM module (csdm_amxx.dll / csdm_amxx_i386.so). :)

Re: [HELP] Plugin

what program do you guys use to edit .dll and/or .so files?

KWo 03-11-2011 05:48

Re: [HELP] Plugin

We are not directly editing dll/so files, because they are compiled binaries files, same like *.amxx are compiled versions of *.sma files. So we are editing the sources of those dll/so which are *.h, *.cpp C++ sources files. As editors for C++ source files You can use Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition (on windows PC). Then You need to compile Your sources - MS Visual C++ is good for windows dll, but for *.so (linux binaries) You need to use i.e CodeBlocks with MinGW (if Your Editor's PC is a linux PC) or Cygwin (if Your Editor's PC is a windows box). I think this question should be asked somewhere else (not at CSDM forum).
