Footstep change with engfunc function?
 
hi guyz. How can i change footstep sound with using engfunc function ?

i tried this code but not working good.Sound coming behind :(

Code:

            case 'C':
                engfunc( EngFunc_EmitAmbientSound, 0, id, simplesteps[num[id]], VOL_STEP, ATTN_STATIC, 0, PITCH_NORM )

You can't, footsteps sounds are played client-side, you can't hook nor change it. What you could do as alternative way is to redo all manually, silent the player's footsteps using set_user_footsteps() then reproduce then with your sounds.

already i use mp_footsteps "0" command in my server with this plugin. set_user_footsteps() not need for my plugin.Only i want to learn why do sounds come of player from back .
