[L4D2] Spawn Playable Witch
 
Already in-game we have the random event where the Tank will randomly spawn and a player gets control. What I'd like is something similar to this where the player can take over the witch. She won't be as active as the tank but the player will be able to basically pat her around the map and potentially get in the way of the survivors. She can follow/chase them and once upset the player would have full control over owning anything she wants.

Seeing as the Tank and Witch are both considered "boss" by L4D2 there must be some way to get that done. Wish I knew how to code that.

the witch is considered a common infected by the engine. i cant be done.

boss is just a term

the tank is a player which can be kicked (even when ai controlled) - do a status when theres a tank (coop or vs). the witch is not a "player".

Couldn't you do this a other way around.

Spawn a hunter, give it a witch model, speed it up, make the hunters attacks cap players soon as he strikes etc.

Remove it's pounce so on?
