Online Compiler BROKEN?

I compiled my mod (war3FT) with a linux compiler and with a windows compiler both with no warnings and no problems, but the online compiler doesn't work. Any idea why?

u proly used wrong compiler to compile yours. u need 2.1

BigBaller 04-16-2004 17:28

No

the online compiler is not working, I already told bailopan about this yesterday and there is even a thread about it in the support forum, if you update your plugin it will no longer be able compile "on the fly"

Bailopan just needs to fix that compiler, give him the weekend and it will do, so right now just attach the .amx file also when updating or posting new plugins because many people dont know how to compile on thier own -_-

Code:

Read the errors above. Your plugin failed to compile. Make sure it is has the correct #includes.

Go back

1893 plugin compiles to date.
This tool by: David "BAILOPAN" Anderson.

I tryed to compile a this plugin "amxx\scripting\welcomemsg.sma" (just to see if it was really messed up.) from my computer (i uploaded it) that was the error i got.

Compiler

I think there might be another compiler released other than in DOS format. Will you guys make one in program form, cuz if not a might.

Time to get the old, AMX FrontEnd Compiler out. :)

BAILOPAN 04-22-2004 03:20

The problem is multilayered, I am kind of confused as to how I'd go about solving this. Here are the issues:

It's a 64bit server, which means it needs to be recompiled. The sources to the older versions of the compiler do not exist, and I don't have time to fix most of the bugs in the 2.5.0 compiler. Even if I do, we need to use the new compiler ANYWAY so 64bit plugins will work for the 0.20 release.

Basically, all this comes down on to me waiting for Thiadmer to help me out. he is the small maintainer

BigBaller 04-22-2004 03:28

Well do you think since AMXX is finally going to have 64bit versions, that there will be a sperate option on the plugin forum to compile in a 64bit version?

I thought of a idea just as I was typing this. But because this is a 64bit machine it wouldnt work, but I will still tell it anyways.

Install two compilers, 32bit and 64bit.

Then on the plugin forum, you could alwayz add another option, like add "Get 64bit Version" or something along those lines.

Then on main website, you could have the 32bit compiler as the default but add a link or something to the 64bit compiler.

no my idea was to make all plugins 64bit. the machine would still work on 32bit systems

the disadvantage: 8bit cells and loss of compact encoding. this could potentially quadruple the size of plugins. that's not really an issue though

when i try to compile plugins for 0.20
i sometimes get a strange error

the plugin will be compiled or so he sais
when i download the compiled file
and start it it's not the plugin i wanted to get

f.e. i compiled the team_balancer
and i got awp_limit plugin or something else

the file named team_balancer.amxx
but when i start it and type amxx list
it will say : [25] AWP LIMIT by ???? running team_balancer.amxx

it's not always awp limit - i also got a chat_responder or AFK kicker
