Catch advertisement bind
Hello, is it posible to catch witch key player presed, then he made advertising through say command? Am asking because some servers bind players config to advertise themselves in other servers. I thought if is posible to catch those bind, give player a menu with sugestion to bind that key to default value.

Re: Catch advertisement bind
There are plugins that can catch if a player is advertising through chat or in their name.
You don't have to check a player's binds. Search for Anti-Commerce and Don't Say IPs. |
Re: Catch advertisement bind
Anti-commerce plugin just filters text and replaces it, or punishes players.
My idea is to monitor some frequently by other servers binded keys (like tab, z, x, c) and if notice any say text with these keys presed, popup player a meniu with something like: "Server noticed, what your %key% is binded with advertisements. Would you like to unbind %key% to default value? And player can accept/refuse, if he refuse kick him from server, if accepts bind him default value for that key. Of course i could use existing autobind plugin which bind keys with menu, just entered into server, but in that case other people, who dont advertise anything, also would have menu to bind their keys. |

What about cheking what is binded to players key? For example, check if players key(z) not equals to +radio1, give him menu with bindings sugestion.

Re: Catch advertisement bind
It's not possible to see a player's binds, or what key they are pressing, or the files in their cstrike folder.

Re: Catch advertisement bind
If use client_cmd(player, "bind tab") it would print current bind in players console, is it posible for server to read it too?

Re: Catch advertisement bind
No, you only can catch some binds like "use" (IN_USE), etc.. but the key pressed, no.
