Ok, i got an idea, while discussing about reserved slots for l4d. This plugin will check every connecting player and if they dont have admin-flags (reserved, kick or root) and they got into spectators, they will be kicked with appropriate kick reason. Will print to all chat why someone got kicked. This only checks players who just connected. It wont kick any who changed team to spectators or was moved by some afk manager plugin. I hope this would work. It would be useful for local hosting and for those who have spare slots on their rented server. Hopefully we will get working reserved slots for l4d somewhen.
Claimed to be working fine. Config file "L4D_ReservedSpectators" will be created inside cfg/sourcemod folder. Dont forget to put translation file into sourcemod/translations if you use 1.2 or 1.3 version. CVARS: l4d_reserved_spectators_timetokick (default 10) "Specifies time before non-admin spectator will be kicked." l4d_reserved_spectators_playersb4kick, (default 8) "Specifies how many players to have before adding timer to start kicking" l4d_rs_version Version of plugin. Changelog 1.01 / Fixed a typo, which screwed message coloring. 1.1 / Added CVAR to control time before kick will occur. 1.2 / Added translation file. If doesnt work, use 1.1 version. 1.3 (KrX edition)/ New cvar added, see cvars list for description. Some extra checks also. 1.4 (KrX edition)/ Added version cvar and KrX to author's list in plugin info. |

Does this alow me to get in my server while its full ?
i mean when it runs coop if there are 4/4 people playing does it alow me to use the 5Th slot as spectator and my other admins to use the 6 and 7th and 8 slot ? or am i getting this all wrong ? cuzz i have 2 server with 8 slots but 1 is always running coop so the other 4 slots are never used |

If you have 8 fully unlocked slots - yes. Otherwise you need to get slots first by installing either L4DToolz metamod plugin or downtown extension.
Anyway you, will need to set maxplayers to 8 for coop mode. Default maxplayers for coop is 4 and you will need extra plugins (mentioned above) to unlock maxplayers to make use of other slots. |

So if i instal the downtow 1 will that unlock the 4 extra slots on my server ? automaticly or do i need a extra cvar for it so it shows 8 slots?

I dont know how Downtown function, i use Metamod L4DToolz and This I have set 10 max survivors and 10 max infected via survivor_limit and z_max_player_zombies cvars, which you need to unblock with above miniplugin (just put it in plugins). Then with L4DToolz i set sv_maxplayers variable to 20. If i want spectator slots then, i can just set it to 21 or whatever i want. You may also set sv_visiblemaxplayers, so everyone will see as much slots as you want (if you set it to 4, everyone will see only 4 slots, even if there are 4 more unlocked slots available.
As for downtown - read appropriate topic. I've never used it, but it is working. Its just that Toolz is easier to use, because you wont need any other plugins (like "Superversus" for example) to have more players. Only miniplugin to unblock mentioned cvars' upper bounds (they locked to 4 max survivors and 4 max infected by default). |

probably as same as superversus+downtown system. I mean unreserve stuff, matchmaking wont work, direct connect etc...

I'm surprised nobody found a solution for unreserve when full and re-reserve when less players on. it would make matchmaking work.
