Will CS:GO remain free forever, or will it become paid again soon?

Also, why did Valve decide to make CS:GO free? How will they make money now?

It is Valve who decided to make CS:GO FTP. You would need to ask them, as we don't know their business plan.

Yes, in all likelihood it will remain free, there would be no reason to go back.

They don't make their money from just a single game purchase, it's from skins, transactions, and keys from the game.

Why did they decide to make it FTP? That's up to them to explain, we can only speculate. Contact them and get back to us.

Even CS:GO is free to play, it have some limitations with other features. One is csgo sdk tools (hammer world editor, etc. etc.). I can't remember/I don't know what else it have.

they made it f2p, then forced everyone to buy prime status (otherwise you won't get drops rank etc.) and add infinite amount of cases, capsules, etc.

Because freemium business model pays off a lot more. Gambling and whatnot.
