Does anything else on that iface work? Is this a pure game issue?

Is their Steam Client up to date?

Any change to get this working with SM pre 1.7? Im running SM 1.6 and i get
Code:

file "SteamWorks.ext.so": Could not find interface: IPlayerManager
. Unfortunately upgrading SM is not an option for me at the moment but still i would love to use this extenstion.

May I ask why upgrading is not an option?

(If there are issues with newer versions, 1.8 being the current stable, we want to know to fix them)

Im sure its fine, its just that i use alot of plugins and extensions that were compiled against SM 1.6, and even though some are still being maintained and updated they still are being compiled against SM 1.6. So im worried that if i upgrade SM and MM some stuff may either stop working or cause issues. I was trying to avoid the upgrade but i guess i have no other choice than try.

Try older builds of the Extension.

If you could absolutely let us know if you encounter issues from 1.7 or 1.8 that would be fantastic. There shouldn't be anything wrecking your environment.

Stupid question:
"This goes in the bin directory beside your gamedir" - Does this mean that I should copy it in serverfiles/csgo/bin or serverfiles/bin ?

I added it in serverfiles/bin but I got some errors and the server is running LAN only it said.
That's why I am asking.

You did the right thing (beside, not inside) - but CS:GO already ships (and requires) a newer steamclient library.
