You are running a plugin with a horrendous security bug - it's passing an unsanitized player name to ServerCommand.

Okay thank you.

Hi there, sorry to be a bother. But there was an update to the gamedata about 6 days ago. SourceMod did its auto-update, and broke my PVKII server again. I had to re-add "game" "pvkii" to the engine.sdk2013.txt file in core.games again. (I had never removed it, because, it was still a fix) From what I saw on the wiki it seems there's a way to disable the autoupdate, so I'll do that.

Are you on the 1.6.3 release? an earlier dev build? or something else?

Some gamedata was removed because it was no longer necessary on some games and mods (including pvkii) after this release.

I believe that the any case where it should have broken is if you are on an older 1.7.0-dev build.

I'm still on 1.6.3 from sourcemod.net. I dunno if those links are updated or something with a newer 1.6.3 as that would be confusing, but should I use a development version?

If you're on the 1.6.3 release, your gamedata should have been updated with that change (and was), but should not have broken anything. I'm looking into it.

@Spirrwell

Can you be more specific with what "broke"?

Triple post, but I believe that it is fixed now.

Logical ent support was never working for PVKII on the 2013 SDK. You had a local edit to fix it that was never upstreamed. The gamedata updater was just not overwriting your copy until this recent change. A fix has now been upstreamed for the 1.6.x and 1.7.x versions.

Sorry for the late response as my father passed away earlier this month and have been working on moving out. O.o But anyway, yeah, it's all good now. Works just fine.

Don't know if you need to know what was "broken" prior to the update, but stuff like sdkhooks was failing to load and crashing upon joining. But it's working just fine now. Thank you so much!

Another known issue, which I had forgotten about. SDKHooks will crash rather than gracefully fail if missing gamedata. I'll have that fixed in the near future as well.
