L4D2 Addons Cheaters !!

Hello guys, I think most of L4D2 community are familiar with some bull**** addons cheats.

Nowadays so many players are using them in modded servers, and are not easy to detect them.

I'm using SMAC, its decent for detecting aimbots and wallhacks so far.

My main issues are with other few addons that I couldnt find anything in the forum to detect them.

1- Addons that can change I guess render or glow color of infected, making them easily detected in dark areas
2- Some addons that removes boomers puke, its not related to "mat_queue_mode"
3- Addons that make walls transparent, and removing some textures like tree leaves etc

If anything that can help prevent these ppl from using it, I will be glad to try it.

try restrict client use any addons:

Yeah this is something can be done, but I only want to restrict some known cheating addons like these

Ahhh thanks, I think then the only way is to disable addons

I think left 4 hooks offers that option, although I think you already discovered it a long time ago hahaha

This is really old thing, even latest smac can't detect nowadays aimbots, wallhacks or whatever else...there is simply no way to prevent cheaters. Only solution is individual checking suspected players and "shine through" them..
