What's been added to Sourcebans++ that makes it different to the original Sourcebans?

This version actually works after dumping the files on your server and running the 5 minute install process. The original version could work as well if you know how to fix it or feel up to digging through thousands of posts just to find the 5-6 relevant fixes.

What port needs to be open to be able to connect to the server? Currently I am getting a connection error!

EDIT: after finding out I need UDP incoming open, I asked my provider to open it only to find out its been open.. Still cannot connect to the server though.

you can check your errors with sb_debug_connection.php, this file finds in sourcebans-pp-1.x\web directory or on your web uploaded sourcebans folder.
