[CS:GO] SMAC SourceMod Anti-Cheat

I started looking to add SMAC to my servers and I read a thread saying last version was from 2013, if I'm not mistaken, I remember also seeing some new mods to it made more recently like eyes angle check and such. I'd like to ask everyone that has been using it for a while and know a lot about it for some insight on where I should start and what's the most efficient way to run it.

Thanks!

There is an entire board here about SMAC.

https://forums.alliedmods.net/forumdisplay.php?f=133

You should especially take a look at this thread:
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=230923

Basically, SMAC can be discussed here, but no code or plugin can be distributed here.

Yeah I read this and also that it was hard to find, I just wanted to hear from someone that knows more about it..
The lastest version found online is enough? Do you guys use any modules? It's from 2013, how can it be efficient in CS:GO with so many new hacks?
If an admin sees this, feel free to move it if you feel like it's not in the right section!

Why didn't you post this there, then?

SMAC is server-side. From what I understand, hack development is mostly to outpace VAC and changes to the game itself on the client's end of things. Even though there might be multiple aimbot hacks out there, they are all still aimbot hacks, with only a few differences noticeable on the server's end. Speedhacks are still speedhacks. Wallhacks are still wallhacks. Autotriggers are still autotriggers. Etc.

That's my understanding of it, anyway. :\

I was pretty sure I saw some addons for it in the plugins section so I guessed it was something that would belong there (I was wrong it seems).

Interesting so you just use the base SMAC without mods?

No part of my message stated or implied that the modules weren't necessary. SMAC is split into modules probably for ease of maintenance, and because certain modules seem to be specific to certain games. On it's own, SMAC.smx doesn't do anything. It solely provides natives and forwards for the modules to interact with.

If you use SMAC without any of the modules, then you're literally doing nothing. It would be like installing Sourcemod but deleting all plugins and extensions.

Gotcha, and some are found in the package and some others in the forums I guess?

I am not personally aware of any that are hosted on the forum, but this doesn't mean that they don't exist.

One last thing, does anyone knows if there are a lot of reported false positives?
