[ANY] Give Roles on Discord (1.2) [NEW UPDATE 04/23/2020]
 

Description:
People must have their account linked on your discord server to get the plugin work!
Automatically give roles on discord when players join.
Using sourcemod flags.


How to add roles based on sourcemod flags?

First of all, drag and drop all files. Then navigate to addons/sourcemod/configs and edit the file called GiveRoles.cfg



Will this plugin delete roles?

Yes, it has a feature to delete roles if they have no flags longer.
Let's say that you have VIP and it expires on X day. When that day comes, and if you're in the server, the "VIP Role" from discord will be revoked.

  - Fixed some stuff.
  - Deleted all ways to claim/get roles.
  - Players will only get roles upon connect. This will guarantee a better performance and no error logs anymore (i guess)

• 10/02/2020:
  - Fixed some stuff.
  - Added multiple flags support ("flags" "abcd", etc)
  - Fixed Discord role ID split by two.
  - Deleted ROOT access (also flag Z) to avoid root admins to get unneeded roles on discord.
  - Added a warning message just for "generic flag" admins, to advice that the feature is currently disabled for those who are trying to claim their roles via the command.

OMG, I was after such a plugin.

I was already seeing some privates with some devs who contacted me, anyway, thanks for sharing.

Does not issue roles, config without errors. What could be the problem? Can you configure the core somehow?

Is anyone having trouble with this plugin + discord utilities? Seems that it doesn't' work anymore or it's just my case?
