Metamod wont load
 

Hello.

I have recently tried to install metamod for my team fortress 2 steamcmd linux server and no matter what i do it does not seem to load metamod. Whenever i type in server console meta version it says no such command. I have previously installed metamod and it used to work before some recent updates. I have tried a load of tutorials and ideas and no matter what i cant seem to succeed. My friend however successfully installed and loaded metamod on his server which runs on windows which leads me to beleive it is a linux problem. What should i do?

tl;dr metamod wont load on windows.

p.s. i apologise in advance for all misspels and mistakes i make. i have tried a lot and posting here is my last resort.

...are you sure you're installing the linux binaries and not the windows ones?

Download and install this version:
