Plugins can now use custom colors in chat messages in TF2
 

This may also apply to other OB games (HL2: Deathmatch and Day of Defeat: Source), but they aren't mentioned.

Well updating any plugins I got that support this. Shame that Advertisements 0.5.5 doesn't support these at the moment =/

This was only added to TF2 20 minutes ago. That and it's not clear if it applies to all text areas or only the chat box.

Well of course I'll do testing. Surprised they added something like this though, I've been waiting for it for awhile. (Especially with Black Text until an item appears changing it)

The Advertisements Plugin will never be updated. Someone will have to write something from scratch.

CS:GO? They have no reason to update CS:S now. It'd be like if they updated Day of Defeat or Team Fortress Classic

I could see that once GO is released... but we're still months away from GO release date and CS:S has been skipped over 5-7 engine updates that it shouldn't have... I know others here feel my pain - I can't be alone ;)

Anybody else have my problem when for example, PrintToChatAll is called with \x07###### it shows up in the console as ######Your Message ?

This is great news, I'm coincidentally adding colours to the !bp plugin's advertisements today.
