players lag question ?
 

hi i wanted to ask you pros a question about players lag on server, okey on with the question

So i have a server and lets say i 10 players on the server that have about 200-250 ping maybe more doesn't matter. So i have heard from other sources and people even friends telling me that if a have players on my server with 200 or more ping it will cause my server to lag ?

Is this true , or is it total nonsense

i am asking this because i really dont want to use high ping kicker on my server if the high ping players dont do any harm like lag :)

Yes, they can cause it to lag. However, you can't just go by their ping.
Use this plugin, it's better than any HPK out there.

It won't cause other people to lag nor will it cause the server to lag. The only thing that will happen is that that player will not be updating the server on their position as quickly which will make it seems like other players are lagging because they miss them when they shoot at them.

i see thank you for the explanation i that case i dont think i will need high ping kicker or any kind of plugins like that :)
